Accessibility statement

The accessibility standard we build this website to, how we meet it, the known limitations, and how to tell us about a problem.

Last updated

In short

  • Our target for this website is WCAG 2.2, Level AA.
  • We build every page to work with a keyboard, respect reduced-motion settings and work without JavaScript.
  • Product replicas are pictures with written descriptions. That is the main known limitation.
  • If something doesn't work for you, tell us and we will find another way to get you the information.

Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, voice control or screen magnification, and people reading on a phone outdoors.

Our target for this website is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

This statement covers the public STRACTA website. For the accessibility of the STRACTA application, ask us during your demo conversation.

How we build the website

We build every page of this website to these rules:

  • One main heading per page, headings in order, labelled page regions, and a link to skip to the content.
  • Menus and questions use standard browser controls that work with a keyboard.
  • A visible focus outline on every link, button and control.
  • Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 against its background, and status labels that never rely on colour alone.
  • Links and buttons at least 44 by 44 pixels on touch screens.
  • Reduced-motion settings respected: animations are shortened, and sequences show their final state.
  • Page text and navigation in the HTML itself, so they work without JavaScript. JavaScript only adds optional enhancements.
  • Every replica of the STRACTA interface paired with a written description of what it shows.

Known limitations

Product replicas
Replicas of the STRACTA interface are presented as pictures with a written description. Screen reader users hear the description, not every label inside the replica.
Small text inside replicas
Labels inside a replica are scaled like a screenshot and can be small on a phone. The written description next to each replica carries the same information.
Interactive sections
Interactive sections, such as the construction day on the homepage, move through several screens. They can be paused, and they show their final state when reduced motion is on. If any part is hard to follow with your setup, tell us and we will give you the information another way.

How this statement was prepared

This statement is based on a self-assessment of the website against WCAG 2.2 Level AA, carried out by our own team.
