Field Reporting

The field side of STRACTA: the day's plan in, issues and production back out. Field Reporting is what a foreman and crew do on a phone. They see the published assignment in My Day, acknowledge it, report issues from the jobsite and record daily production. Each report lands where the office already works: the attention items and the project record.

At 10:41 AM an in-app notification on Marco D.'s phone shows that revision 2 of the dispatch replaced broker truck CB-17 with OV-05.

  • My Day

The day's assignment on the foreman's phone: review it, acknowledge it, report back.

My Day is the field side of the published dispatch. Foremen and crews see their own assignment on a phone, acknowledge it and report issues from the jobsite. When the plan changes, the update shows in My Day with an in-app notification.

  • Daily Production

Quantities, hours and photos recorded from the jobsite, on the day the work happens.

Foremen record the day's production from a phone: the quantity placed, the hours and a photo. The entry shows on the project, so the project manager sees progress against the baseline the same afternoon instead of the next morning.

How they connect

How they work together through the day.

  1. The plan reaches the crew

The dispatch published at 5:45 AM shows in Marco D.'s My Day. He reviews the crew, equipment, trucks and 320 t planned, and acknowledges at 6:12 AM.

  2. An issue goes to the office

Marco reports BT-02 down at the paver from My Day, and it appears as an attention item. The dispatcher publishes an update at 10:40 AM, and My Day shows revision 2.

  3. Production goes on the project

From the Report tab, Marco records 140.00 t, 18.0 hours and a photo. At 4:15 PM the project manager sees it on the project against the baseline.
