Tasks

Follow-ups with a name and a deadline, in the office and on the phone. Tasks turn the follow-ups that usually get lost in phone calls into work with an owner and a deadline. Field users see theirs in the Tasks tab on a phone.

Tasks for Harborview Corridor and Bellwether Pointe, each with an assignee, a due time and an open or done status.

Problems solved

Where the day breaks down.

  1. Somebody said they'd handle it

A follow-up gets agreed on a call. A week later, nobody remembers who took it.

  2. No deadline, no urgency

The frames need adjusting before paving reaches them, but the request never says by when.

  3. To-dos on scraps of paper

Field follow-ups get written on whatever is in the truck, and they disappear with the paper.

What it does

What Tasks does.

In plain terms. Your version of STRACTA is shaped around how your team works, so bring your own workflow to the demo.

  • An assignee on every task

Every task names the person responsible, so it's clear who owns it.

  • A deadline on every task

Give each task a deadline, such as 11:00 AM today or noon tomorrow.

  • Tasks on the phone

Field users see their tasks in the Tasks tab of the field interface.

  • Tell STRACTA what you need

Say it out loud or type it in a sentence. STRACTA creates the task for you, filled in and ready to review.

Can field crews see their tasks on a phone?

Yes. Tasks is one of the five tabs in the field interface, next to My Day, Report, Chat and More.

How do Tasks relate to the dispatch?

The dispatch plans the day's crews, equipment and trucks. Tasks carry the follow-ups around it, each with an owner and a deadline, such as adjusting frames before the paver reaches them.
